A Note from Boat Angel Team Members:
Kentucky is home to one of the wonders of the world the beautiful Mammouth Cave National Park, but what many people don't know it is also the home of many wonderful lakes and rivers. The Entire northern border of Kentucky runs along the mighty Ohio River which has been a long time transportation hub though Central United States
Lake Cumberland has over 1,200 miles of shoreline and is the largest artificial lake East of the Mississippi. With so much water throughout the state it is a foregone conclusion that Kentucky is home to lots of boat owners. Bass boats are popular, jet skis are popular fish and ski boats from Carver, Bayliner, Sea Ray, Thompson and hosts of other companies are popular as well.
Travelling throughout the state you can see evidence of abandoned boats. It leads the observer to the conclusion that no one really knows what to do with their boat when they are tired of using it.
Boat Angel can help you get rid of a jet ski or boat you no longer want. Boat Angel Outreach center accepts donated boats working or not all sizes, ages and models and processes them.. What does that mean? You get a tax receipt for the boat, Boat Angel uses the proceeds to fund their many children's programs.
